School with no grades, with discussions and questions, organised in nature, on field trips where we play, sing, compete and rejoice to every day.Summer school Stopama Kraljice Katarine is an organised stay for immigrant children from age 7 to age 16.
It takes place in summer holidays, from 8th July 2018. to 14th July 2018.
Main goal of summer school is giving the possibility to immigrant children to learn Croatian language and writing, get to know tradition, culture and history of their nation in the spiritual and cultural centers while spending time with peers from Croatia and BiH.
Learning their mother language , culture and history, children will be on the path to save the national identity. Also, our goal is to establish good relations and give them a chance to stay in contact with other peers from different countries, to exchange experience and knowledge about different cultures. It is a school with no grades, with discussions and questions, organised in nature, on field trips where we play, sing, compete and rejoice to every day.
Since the 7th century Croats have been living on the lands of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They have been moving throughout the history and now they live in all continents. Summer school program is made for immigrant children so they can meet the land of their ancestors through different themes:
history of Croats form BiH
symbols of Croats from BiH through history
religion, art and literature
music and tradition
sport and education
life and customs
